Enrique Norten ‘High-Design’ Planned Apartment Project Across from Midtown Miami – The Next Miami

A developer has announced plans for an apartment project across from Midtown Miami, designed by a “world-renowned architect”.

The new apartment building is expected to be “top of the line,” said Asi Cymbal, president of developer Cymbal DLT Companies.

“Typically, you would experience this level of design in a high-end condominium project or an art museum.”

Mexican architect Enrique Norten and his firm Ten Arquitectos will design the new complex, which will span 350,000 square feet.

The eight-storey project will include 203 apartments, retail on the ground floor, a swimming pool and a rooftop bar.

State-of-the-art features such as hands-free access to units, noise attenuation elements and air purification, sterilization and ionization systems that are 99% effective against Covid.

Cymbal said he secured a $17.5 million loan today from New Wave Loans, enabling him to buy out his partner in the property and prepare the site.

The new property will be built around current tenant The Sylvester. Other retailers that will remain on site include Saccaro, Dāek Thai Eatery and a ghost kitchen location for REEF Neighborhood Kitchens.

Cymbal DLT will move its headquarters from the property to its Riverwalk Raintree residences when completed in 2025, but will have a satellite office in the new Midtown Miami building. A temporary seat is planned at his Oasis Pointe in Dania Beach.

Groundbreaking across from Midtown Miami is scheduled for late 2023.
