New Development in Old Town North Named Best Boutique Condominium in DC Area

ALEXANDRIA, VA – Muse, a new condominium development that has opened in Old Town North Alexandria, has won an award from real estate research consultant Delta Associates.

Muse won Best Boutique Condominium 2022 award at Delta Associates Washington/Baltimore Multi-Family Excellence Awards. The awards recognize apartment and condominium communities in DC, Northern Virginia, suburban Maryland and Baltimore. Winners are selected based on factors such as location, price, pace of sales, design and marketing.

“Muse’s condominiums in Old Town North offer exceptional design and world class
marketing in Alexandria,” Delta Associates said of Muse.

Muse is an eight-story, 72-unit condominium with prices ranging from $650,000 to $2 million. According to a Muse spokesperson, it opened in April 2022. So far, 40 of 72 units have been sold. Floor plans range from a 920 square foot one bedroom to two bedrooms and an 1,850 square foot den. Residential units include open entertaining areas, modern kitchens with large islands, spacious master bathrooms and large closets. Some units have dens, which can be used as guest bathrooms.

Austin Flajser, president of Carr Companies, attributed Muse’s success in a statement to its floor plans as well as residents’ desire to be near the Potomac River, the airport and the greater DC area. .

“We are delighted that the new owners of Muse include business owners, C-suite executives and managers, doctors, young professionals and a significant mix of couples who are leaving single-family homes or historic townhouses with too much maintenance,” Flajser said. “Muse caters to a sophisticated clientele who will continue to add vibrancy to the community and expect a continued cultural arts component to the newly created Arts District.”
